The bonus of having friends from different countries is you get invited to dinner parties with amazing foods of different origins. This time a dear Greek/Turkish couple put out this wonderful spread of
a fall-off-the-bone 6 hour slow roasted lamb leg,
beef Kibbeh (mince beef stuffed samonlina balls),
a delicious pilaf, and a couple mezes and a beautiful dessert I cannot remember the names of.
Good food, good wine, good company, a feast for the body and soul.
